We had dinner here, and the food was really, really good. I was impressed with the presentation of the dishes and the attentiveness of the staff. The view over Port Elizabeth and Admiralty Bay is stunning, especially at sunset.

Tantie Pearl’s is a gem on this island! We came for NYE dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The sunset views are spectacular high above the bay, and the food and drinks were yummy and home cooked. Best part? We got to learn how to draw a unicorn from the chef’s daughter - the adorable cherub who welcomes many of the tables.

We loved Tantie Pearl’s! Burgers were absolutely delicious, and what a view. Nice music, great service, loved the orange woodwork. Promise the reward is sweet once you make it up the hill.

Let me explain my 3 stars for service. I would 100% return. Our hotel suggested we make reservations. Since I wanted to be there for sunset, that seemed like a great idea. When we arrived at 5:50 for our 6:00 reservation we were right behind another couple. As it turns out we were the only customers for the evening, 2 couples. We ended up talking with the other couple and invited them to join us at our table. The entire meal was over 3 hours. Waiter was extremely nice, but everything took a very long time. The view and company was spectacular so we didn’t mind the wait. The food was delicious, although several things were not on the menu. Appetizers, I had the pumpkin soup and my wife had the ceasar salad. The other couple had wings and ceasar salad. Everything was delicious. Main course, pork loin, creamy shrimp and curry shrimp. Desert, chocolate cake, red velvet cake and carrot cake. All delicious! We were a little bewildered on how everything could take so long as we were the only customers, but that doesn’t change the fact that we enjoyed the whole meal and experience.

Fabulous Roti & views! Open until 3 pm and then reopens at 6pm currently. Had both the mutton and conch roti and highly recommend!
